Had an excellent one night stay at South of Africa self catering property in Cape Agulhas. The property is located in a very quiet and safe neighbourhood and at the perfect distance from the nearby supermarkets and the light house. The property was well equipped to aid with any cooking. The beds and bathroom were clean & tidy. The property also has a nice sit out area in the back where we were able to enjoy a relaxed morning breakfast. The host was excellent and provided us with all the information necessary to make our stay warm and memorable. All in all, a perfect place to spend a 2-3 night getaway.

The people of Agulhas are friendly and the sea view is lovely, lots of walking paths and an animal friendly environment. The southernmost point of Africa where the two oceans meet and it is part of the National Parks Council.You'll discover fascinating ecological habitats, shipwrecks, national monuments and signs of ancient settlements in this nature conservation area.

The Lighthouse museum is a must to visit, as is the Africa map at the southernmost tip - hopefully they will cover it in brass as it's degrading. A sunset walk was beautiful in the evening, and the tidal pools warm for swimming.

Surprisingly pleasant, once you orientated yourself harbour in middle, long sandy beach on one side and lighthouse on extreme other, We saw buck on side of the road one evening below the lighthouse, splendid 😀

Cheryl and Alan are wonderful hosts. Tea and coffee on arrival. Quick run down of local attractions. Cheryl booked supper for us. Very comfortable room - everything that we needed was available and in good working order. Breakfast was delicious. Such a lovely couple, really welcoming and helpful.. Would totally recommend a stay here. Would gladly have stayed for longer🙂

The place was so close to the beach which is what I love, to be as close to the sea as possible. The Lighthouse was also a walk away and it was so easy going up the 71 steps to the top to enjoy the beautiful view. It was just unfortunate that we had bad weather and was not able to do all the things we planned to do. Theres a Parkrun every Saturday.

Beautiful little town, the weather was unfortunately cold and rainy but we still walked around and visited the Southern most tip of Africa. I see there is many tidal pools. Lovely restaurants with good food. The city was very clean and had everything you need for a stay. Good shop and even a pick N pay liquor store. We will be back in summer

We had a pleasant stay at Spookdraai B&B near Cape Agulhas. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the warm greeting on arrival. Breakfast was quite basic, but enough to start the day. The highlight of our stay was definitely the beautiful ocean view from our room — it really added to the experience. Overall, a lovely place to stay in a peaceful location.

The common lounge was nicely furnished with a kitchen and an outside barbecue area. I wish we could stay longer than just one night to enjoy more of this calm and pleasant apartment and the nature of the Agulhas Cape! The rooms were great, and the sea view was lovely!
