We liked the whole experience. Room perfect. Elephant viewing area perfect. Breakfast and other meals in the restaurant perfect. You can go and feed the elephants any time you want (at 30-minute intervals) during the day. We also took a walk with the elephants at a reasonable extra cost (limited availability so you must book well in advance). Staff were super friendly.

Facilities were 2nd to none amazing hosts in Carrie and Laura I couldn’t have been happier than sitting on the stoop watching elephants and zebra go by whilst sipping a glass of wine. If you are planning a trip to Plettenberg bay please stay here.

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights. The cottage was absolutely perfect and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Service was excellent and the staff even washed our car on the day of check out, which was a very nice touch - we've never had this before throughout our 20+ years of travels. Less than 10 minutes from Plettenberg Bay by car.

The location was amazing, quiet and very safe.. The braai with other guests was fantastic. The photos do not do justice to the lodge grounds, to the views. The staff (Nicholas, Alex, Ernest, and one other) and the owner (Andy) were very welcoming and helpful on any request. Max, the dog, and his little mate took us on a walk around the substantal grounds of the property.

We loved the fact that it was a rustic place with everything you might need in place. Even though it is very basic evrything worked and fitted the environment. Lovely to see many peacicks and peahens although they were noisy at times.
