Safe location, excellent staff - nothing was too much trouble for Alfred. Large room and a comfortable bed. Nice garden and swimming pool, safe parking. Excellent breakfast and we were able to order food in for dinner. This was our first time in South Africa and we really appreciated the level of service and help we got from Alfred.

As a solo female traveler i had a lot of questions and Josie made me feel so safe and welcome from the very beginning! All the stuff is extremly kind and always ready to help. The Garden is wonderful, the room was cozy and clean. Dinner was delicious. And i loved the honesty-bar! Everything more than perfect for my first visit of SA. Thanks a lot!

The fact that it is closer to the airport - I would advise...

The fact that it is closer to the airport - I would advise anyone who is looking for stay over for a very early flight to please book at Morningstar. Location felt so safe - shops are not far to get any thing you need.

Perfect location for airport stay-over.

Perfect location for airport stay-over. Shuttle buses to hotels behind Intercon hotel. Close by but difficult to find if you are not farmiliar with location . However, enough airport staff to assist in getting you there.

The location, close to the airport is the single most...

The location, close to the airport is the single most important fact about this B and B and the price is extremely reasonable but unless you have a car it is inconvenient. The B and B is off the beaten track and there is not much around it and it certainly is not walkable. Kempton Park itself is not worth visiting.

Kempton Park was deserted to wrong people.

Kempton Park was deserted to wrong people. Everyone enters Ekurhuleni and stays wherever and appear to do whatever they want. It is full of people who appear not to care about it. It is dirty to say the least. Less care. However, i am happy about some of the new and ongoing developments. BirchLeigh and Norkem Park need potholes closed. The buildings need refurbishments. Kempton Park Town needs to be renewed. Glen Marais remains the better so far. Down-town and towards the Airport need cleaning and collection of dirt at night.

Decent area, felt safe at all times.

Decent area, felt safe at all times. To have fun, the prices are lower than the likes of Sandton but its also quite distant from those premium areas and the cost becomes equalized once you factor in things like uber/bolt. Stay if you dont plan to roam a lot.

This is one of the best hotels there is. And believe me, I've been a lot of places. No high-rise hotel can replace the experience I had staying at this place. Kind-hearted owners, wonderful environment, I think if you come to Johannesburg, you definitely need this hotel. Quiet, safe, close to a store 2 minutes walk away. Barbecue, holidays or wedding. Beautiful decorations, the food is great. The host you will have is top class.

All the staff at the hotel were helpful, especially at reception. Our flight was delayed by 6 hours and the staff at the hotel went the extra mile to help. Wonderful friendly staff. We had a massage at the spa and the ladies were exceptional.

We arrived late and wanted to pick up rental car same evening. The hotel is right next to the car rental garage, so it saved us a nightly drive through Johannesburg. It meant we could leave straight to Kruger early next morning.

Friendly staff. Lovely spacious room. Very good restaurant. The shuttle runs every half hour from the hotel and only took 8 minutes to get to the airport. This was my second stay at the hotel and I'll come again.
