The jacuzzi was an absolute highlight, adding not only luxury but also enhancing the overall aesthetic of the place. A special mention must go to Jonathan, who welcomed us with warm hospitality and the most delicious malva pudding, such a thoughtful touch! The place is in urgent need of an upgrade. Almost all the kitchen items were dirty. The pots and pans were old and scratched. The knives were blunt. The dishwasher was broken. The bathroom mats looked like they belonged outside. The grill was rusty. The microwave is extremely old. The living room couches were terribly dirty, and the cushions were worn out and flat. The owner’s personal belongings, like cool boxes, were scattered around. The tap at the kitchen counter had no running water. The shower mats were mouldy. The advertisement of the rooms on the website did not match what we got. The single beds were extremely hard, and the bedding was old. The dishwasher was extremely dirty, mouldy, and broken. The pool cues had no tips. And I could go on and on!@

Loved the the experience of checking in the reception ladies...

Loved the the experience of checking in the reception ladies were very friendly. I wish they can renovate and update the hotel rooms it's outdated ,the sliding doors aren't working properly and fix the WiFi connection ,install fibre that would be better , activities are great really enjoyed ourselves with my family ,game drive, quads and massage enjoyed .enjoyed the bar and restaurant even though it's quite expensive!!!

The house itself is not well kept as there a few things...

The house itself is not well kept as there a few things broken and not well maintained. The location is a bit of a problem as nothing is accessible at Kareefontein but rather at the surrounding lodges. There is nothing really available on Kareefontein. The staff however are friendly and helpful

An excellent venue to get to the bush close to Gauteng and...

An excellent venue to get to the bush close to Gauteng and with all the game in close proximity. Mabula is a very well managed game park. The accommodation is also very good and the F&B mostly met expectations The pool experience needs some attention, particularly service during the day and in the evening. Overall a great experience, one that would warrant a second visit.

I would consider for guest to take their golf gear and book...

I would consider for guest to take their golf gear and book at Zebula, in advance to enjoy a round of golf. If the weather is bad, there is not much to do at Mabula, except to relax and take in the fresh air of the bushveld and relax.

This is a magnificently beautiful place.

This is a magnificently beautiful place. The view is breathtaking. It's so quiet and calm and early morning you can see animals walking around. The property itself is beautiful and spacious with everything you need and even the view from the inside is stunning.

Incredible facilities. Amazing Wildlife. Maintenance of the Units needs attention. Chef Alex Luwani is incredible. Jabulani Shange should be promoted to General Manager of the Hotel, and not just being the Barman - his service providing and Peoples's skill are exceptional. Phillip, Steven, Heindrick 1, Hendrick 2, and Aaron all need to be highly commended.

Wow wow wow incredible place, the food amazing plentiful and delicious, the staff from the cleaners to the waiters, reception always smiling but our Ranger was the best, the morning and afternoon safaris couldn't be missed just stunning...really did not want to leave. Thank you all the staff at mabula for making this a dream.come true

The main lodge share block is beautiful with each your own boma area with braai facilities. Four beautiful bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The game drives with knowledgeable guides. The Monday night Modjadji Braai with Rosina making us PAP at the campfire. The beautiful pool areas. The amazing wildlife of Mabula.
