From the warm welcome to the cute and perfectly appointed unit, we were delighted with our choice. The accommodation provided secure parking and everything we needed to self cater and rest on our journey through to Durban. Cathy had thought of everything - even providing the load shedding schedule a d back up gas stove etc in case of power outages. Highly recommend this place if you are passing and need to break the journey.

Excellent information leading up to the stay. Wonderful welcome gifts like freshly baked bread, farm churned butter and delicious fresh farm milk. Just fulfilled the experience for our family. Ouhout Cottage was spacious, rustic yet tastefully decorated and clean. Staff were polite and assisted in any manner or form. The Farm Stall was a delight and were privileged to watch them milk the cows up front. Well worth it, book early to avoid disappointment. Professionally run establishment which only lends to a better experience.

Lots to see and do around town and on the meander. Staff from most shops seems knowledgable. Most experiences has to do with food and shopping (we aren't adventurers). All attractions are quite close to each other.

The country-side location of Nottingham Road and its "sights & sounds" is a pleasure to experience in its own right; and this is accompanied by plenty of places to eat, with our best experience being at The Boar's Head Pub & Restaurant located at Rawdons Hotel. The route includes an eclectic range of shops where even the most "picky" purchaser will find something interesting to buy!

The house was beautiful, the gardens show worthy and the staff lovely. The house is very well appointed, I am just sorry we couldn’t stay longer. It is close to shops and restaurants. Will definitely be back to enjoy everything at a slower pace.

Very small town. Nice arty, curios shops. Not a lot of restaurants but there are a few options. There is a Spar but I didn;t visit the Spar. Very nice park run at Curries Post (one of the best I've seen!

Piggly Wiggly is my favourite place but there are two...

Piggly Wiggly is my favourite place but there are two beautiful hidden gems: Blue Spiral and Culamoya Chimes that are well worth a visit. There is also an amazing art gallery on the side of the road with a coffee shop. It is very easy to get around to most of the places on Nottingham Road.

Service was really friendly & efficient. Highly recommended! Accommodation was very comfortable. The location was very convenient; easy to access from the N3 motorway and just a few minutes drive from Nottingham Road and the start (coming from the Joh'burg-side) of the Midlands Meander

Lovely hotel but they should probably warn guests that the bar area's noise will travel into your room until late in the night if you live on the side of the hotel. I could handle it. But I know there are a lot of people who won't be okay with it.
