The absolute best part of our first visit to South Africa. An experience we can't forget. Warm welcome, our trackers were beyond amazing, our villa was breathtaking with a plunge pool and cabana to soak it all in, and wildlife right outside. We loved everything about it. The boma night that was arranged for our last evening sealed this deal. We spotted giraffes and zebras on route to the villa. This is where the magic started and it continued throughout our stay. Absolutely everything about this safari was well worth every penny. Traveling from Canada with our Infant, we ended our vacation with this trip and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Thank you to all the staff for showing us what living a fulfilled life is all about. This is as close to wildlife and nature as we could get and it was perfect! We can't wait to visit again for much longer. 2 game drives a day, wake up calls available, excellent meals, villas spoke to Africa's culture, outdoor shower was a must, plunge pool overlooking the terrain with giraffes strolling through the area. Wow!

The exclusivity and small number of guests made it very intimate. The staff were amazing and Neil was an extremely confident and knowledgeable guide who went out of his way to make each game different from the last. The food was amazing as was the villa.

I have no words to describe how much I loved this place. It's just heaven, a bubble of comfort in nature. If you like eating very good food, chilling in a hammock while watching the animals from the nearest reserve strolling, or learning how to play the djembé with the owner Rose and sharing a very meaningful moment, then you have to book a night here! It definitely was my favorite stay of my entire trip in South Africa. I hope we'll be back one day and I'll recommend it to all my friends. If I could put 11/10 on booking, I would!

This was our second visit to Rhino River Lodge and it was just as amazing as the first time. The accommodation, the staff, the food, the drives... it was all amazing.

Convenient location, easy to find. Sean the owner was a great host and kept in contact prior to my arrival. I was late to check in but ensured I had food from the restaurant when I arrived. Allowed a slightly later check out and time to chill before I was collected by the group I was joining Great value for money, comfortable room, social space, bar and restaurant. Food was great value for money too. Staff were welcoming and helpful. If I’m in the area again will stay again.

The chalet is exquisite. Beautiful setting, stylish with attention to detail. Quiet and private, a true forest hideaway. Well situated in terms of access to shops, places to eat and close to the lake. We just loved our stay and Fikile ensured the place was immaculate. Loved the pool and walks.

The Zululand is like a little Island in the Wild but completely fitting in. The Main tent, the Pool and the Panorama View are all in walking distance from the tents, however you still have your good Privacy. The Sleeping tent is is prefectly placed with the right amount of space to keep cocy but comfortable. The Washroom units are solid and hygienic. Overall good for slowing out in the wild and absolutely worth it.
