Perfect selection. The extra charge for additional drinks and items was a little strange and a new concept for us ..but I do understand it´s all about cost control ..so not a real problem after all. The staff ..view and whole package was amazing. Invited my friends for breakfast ..they live in CPT ..and were suitabley impressed. Keep up the good work and I will be booking the whole family villa for my birthday in a few years

Firstly, the staff (especially Warren & Constance) who are extremely knowledgeable and super friendly. Secondly, the food is amazing and most importantly all from local produce. The accommodation and facilities are unpretentious and first-class. Loved everything about this stay and wished to have stayed 1-2 days longer.

Grande Roche deserves every one of its 5 stars. The Legacy rooms in what used to be the old coach house of this historic wine farm have been refurbished, are spacious, tastefully decorated with modern touches, and very comfortable. Welcoming touches such as complimentary wine from the estate, chocolate chip cookies, coffee/tea machine, milk (not creamer) were much appreciated. The gardens on the estate were lush and immaculate, the sparkling swimming pool area with spa was an oasis in mid-summer, and breakfast, lunch and dinner on the verandah with a view across the vineyard to the Paarl mountains are an absolute treat. All this enhanced by every single staff member who went out of their way to make our stay as special as it was.
