Very friendly hosts that cared a lot about us - we even enjoyed a huge bowl of veggies from the garden and felt so welcomed and comfortable. The accommodation offered everything we needed, we had a lot of space, the location was nice and quiet - we had a wonderful time there. We had a lot of fun because all the machines are singing a melody created by an Austrian composer ;)

Separate entry sweet home is gelegen in Victoria, op 12 km van Camosun College, 15 km van Veerboot Victoria Harbour, en 15 km van Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre. Everything was arranged in a way to make it extremely comfortable for us.

Unit is wedged on a cliff and the view from the balcony is astounding. Even though there are units all around it's very quiet. No noise from neighboring units. Popular spot for fishing. Marina is visible from the unit down below. Close to all nature adventures near Port Renfrew. Swimming lakes and surfing beaches nearby, within a 20-30 minute drive.

SookePoint Ocean Cottage Resort is set in Sooke, 23 km from Sooke Region Museum & Visitor Centre and 3 km from East Sooke Park. Free WiFi is available. All rooms in the resort offer a sea view. Breathtaking view from the living room of a top notch apartment. Fully equipped kitchen and comfortable rooms and beds. The shower and the tub are really good.

Campbell Cottage B&B bevindt zich in Nanaimo, op 18 minuten lopen van Nanaimo Bastion en 1,5 km van Newcastle Island Marine Park, en biedt een terras en uitzicht op de tuin. It was like staying with family. It’s conveniently located for walking to the waterfront, the old quarter and Bowen Park. Breakfast was great. My favorites: granola and fruit.

Inn the Estuary bevindt zich in Nanoose Bay in de regio Vancouver Island, op 23 km van Nanaimo Bastion en biedt gratis WiFi, een barbecue, een tuin en gratis privéparkeren. It’s a wonderful place. The surrounding nature is so beautiful and the view from the big windows of the room is just incredible. The rooms are spacious, clean, nicely furnished. There is everything you need for a short stay - and if not, you have just to contact the owner, Harold. He was so friendly, helpful (he provided us great advice about the places we could see there) and at the same time discrete and polite! There are some canoes, so one can go through the little canal from the Inn into the river, there are balconies to enjoy the view - and one has even a bath, so you can bath on the open balcony watched by the birds! (If it’s not what you want, there is a shower in the normal bathroom, too). There was a beaver who came every day, and wild gooses and herons outside. Very beautiful, well-groomed Inn, with beautiful places nearby to enjoy the Canadian nature.

Sunrise Resort Rentals is gelegen op 4 minuten lopen van Rathtrevor Beach en biedt een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad en een fitnesscentrum. Ease of checking in and out. Communication was excellent.

Charming Victoria Character Home-Pet Friendly is gelegen in Victoria, op 4,5 km van Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre en 4,7 km van Point Ellice House, in een omgeving waar je kunt wandelen. Spacious living room with a huge TV and a sound bar and very accessible HDMI cable. Awesome outdoor sauna with romantic lights and BBQ options. Comfortable beds and sofa. Although there is only one bathroom but it has a beautiful vibe. The house is just awesome.

Baylight-天使谷 bevindt zich in Malahat, op 18 km van Veerbootterminal Mill Bay, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de bergen. We had a delightful time at Baylight. The downstairs apartment is clean and feels fresh, the beds were super comfortable (in fact I peeked at the brand so I would know for future mattress purchases) and the whole place is adorably decorated. They are still working on getting the kitchen set up, so if you are coming in the near future, bring meals and foods you can warm up in the microwave, bagels for the toaster, and don’t forget the ice cream which you can have while enjoying the gorgeous view outside your door. Catherine and Jeff were wonderful to work with and very responsive. All around, a wonderful home base for those planning on exploring the beauty of Vancouver Island.
