Beautiful and quiet location. The house had everything that you would need. The host met us there and was very accommodating and friendly He gave us ideas of things to do in the area including a lovely walk straight from the house.

The accommodation is located right in the heart of the Black Forest in a charming old wooden house far from the pretentiousness of modern hotels. It’s quiet, authentic, and surrounded by nature. We loved hearing the sound of cowbells and even witness a couple of falling stars! Our lovely host prepared breakfast in a shared kitchen that was fully equipped with everything you could need. Despite the hosts’ limited English, communication was smooth, friendly, and always helpful. Just a small tip: as of August 2025 although we booked via Booking.com, we had to pay in cash at the end of our stay. So either double-check with the host in advance or bring some cash just in case.
