Very atmospheric place to stay, with lovely, cosy interior! The cottage has old (in a good way!) and traditional feel to it, with all of the modern comforts you might need. We stayed there in October, with the outside temperatures on the lower side, and inside was so lovely and warm! Additionally, working log burner added extra warmth and cosiness in the living area. Kim, whom I’ve liaised with regarding the cottage, was very nice and helpful throughout. The location was also fantastic, only short drive to Edinburgh and beautiful Pentland Hills reserve. I’d definitely visit again!

This was the most amazing experience ever and the Staff are fantastic! Highly recommend! 10 stars! The room, the bed is beautiful, the sitting room makes you feel like royalty, the view, the hidden staircases, being able to have a fire in the fireplace, the hidden kitchenette (which held some wonderful little snacks), the history, EVERYTHING! Making family back home jealous….priceless! Thank you to the staff and owners for sharing such a magnificent part of history! We will be forever grateful that we were able to experience Neidpath Castle.

Cringletie House is a wonderful establishment, one feels like a royal here. The estate is beautiful, has this ‘old’ charm with creaky, carpeted floors. The staffmembers are lovely and go all the way to help you, especially the young lady who was at the reception desk when we arrived, she was super sweet!

The lodge was everything we expected and more,we really liked where we were situated we where really close to the Livingston shopping centre which we really enjoyed the shopping experience and how close we where to places we wanted to visit,and also the places for us to eat out which we did quite a few days and night's there wasn't anything the six of us didn't like,our daughter was impressed by how many of the place's we ate at catered for her with her being gluten free and coeliac she had a really full menu to choose from
