The Lodge is just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Clonakilty, yet is set in a very private location with its own driveway and grounds. The property is huge, with a well equipped kitchen and utility room, dining room, reception room and 4 bedrooms. The hosts left a welcome pack including milk in the fridge which made our stay even easier and more enjoyable. During our stay we also enjoyed the excellent entertainment at de Barras folk club on Pearse Street, and visited the beautiful beach at Inchydoney.

Exactly as listed. I bought the breakfast basket which is a really lovely touch. Lots of small details to note and make your stay special. Very much enjoyed taking my coffee in the morning and being visited by a friendly dog and inquisitive cat. Beautiful stay.

The property itself is in an excellent position on the square, in very close walking distance of several lovely pubs and to the bay. The local Londis was very well stocked. We liked the house overall, the cleanliness, the attention we received from the owner (who was always attentive to every detail and made sure we didn't lack anything), the breakfast, etc. The stay was very pleasant. I will definitely come back.

The house is beautiful, modern design, with a big spacious rooms and big beds, 2 bathrooms. Location is excellent, an hour drive to Cork, 12 min to Skibbereen. Hosts were an amazing, helped with any question in no time. We stayed at the Christmas. We bought all groceries for Christmas dinner with us and what we needed in the kitchen, everything was there. There was lovely Christmas tree and some decorations too, to make look like a home.
