The host met me at the door and gave a brief orientation of how things in the apartment worked. Miguel and Maria-Jaoa are very friendly and are always available to answer questions and offer help and suggestions on visiting Porto. The location is close to the historic downtown and transit stops. The courtyard is a relaxing and beautiful place to hang out and rest. The apartment was very clean and stocked with kitchenware. Comfy bed and pillows. Large people and those with mobility problems may want to let the host know so they get a one-level unit.

We stayed 5 nights here for a family trip to Porto. The house was perfect for us - spacious and very comfortable. It is a little way out of the centre but Ubers are very cheap and plentiful. We would be happy to stay here again.

OH. MY WORD. This place was AWESOME. You can walk to the train station, the bus stop was a block away, choices of cafés, bars, grocery stores, and restaurants all within walking distance. Linda, the host, and her husband João, met us personally and toured the home. They walked us through the keys, wifi, recommendations, and had a welcome basket for us!! We were blown away. The property was spotless, the backyard terrace was nice, and we truly felt at home. As far as I'm concerned, this is the spot to stay at while in Porto. Their communication was very thorough and welcoming.

The property was exactly as described . It was quirky but also very practical. We were able to check in early and were met by the owner who spent a lot of time answering questions and recommending where to explore . It was also possible for us to leave our bags after we checked out which made our final half day much more pleasurable

OK! I don't even know where or how to begin with this one...Me and my family have been traveling for quite some time, and have been in hundreds of cities in almost 40 countries so far. I think this might have been the nicest, best organized, welcoming, cozy and friendly place we've stayed at. They even had tags for the light switches, every appliance you could think of (except a washing machine, but this is stated in the facilities section). My amazement grew when i saw a record player, and a Pink Floyd's The Wall vinyl next to it (plus some others, like David Bowie and i forgot the rest). There's even a Play Station for the kids and a Marshall sound system. We felt at home every moment we spent there. If i would ever move to Porto, this is the kind of place i would love to live in. The hosts even made a booklet for the flat, with information regarding how to use stuff, and what to do around the city. Overall, perfect experience...would book again if returning to Porto.

We stayed 5 nights here for a family trip to Porto. The house was perfect for us - spacious and very comfortable. It is a little way out of the centre but Ubers are very cheap and plentiful. We would be happy to stay here again.
