Cottages in Demre

Amazing river and bird life. lovely meals. breakfast was fantastic. A swimming pool in the river!! Great children’s playground.

We spent five nights at this wonderful house that looks even better than the photos. Spacious and comfortable the open plan with high ceilings also offer a welcome change from the heat of the day and makes it easier to sleep at night. The outdoor space is dominated by the immaculate infinity pool with beautiful view beyond of fields then mountains. The solar power supplies amazingly consistent hot water and although the mains electric lights sometimes dim for a few seconds we never had or expected any outages. We were lucky to be visited occasionally by a very sweet and well behaved young cat. The location is private and not overlooked and sits above the quiet access road where you will rarely see any other cars. Personally it was great to be in such a peaceful location surrounded by nature to watch but with essential feature of being only a 20 min drive from the best town on the Turkish coast. Our host was very attentive and was always quick to respond. We hope to return again.
