Great breakfasts and dinners with fresh products harvested and prepared by Kika, the owner and ultimate host. She does everything at the B&B and still takes care of fruit trees, vegetable gardens, chicken coop etc. Amazing. The area is also very beautiful, but a bit out of the way - you will have to hike in and out of there or schedule some transportation. As some other reviews have stated, the roosters are loud - it takes a while getting used to them, even with earplugs.

We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).

The staff is very helpful and friendly, ready to assist with any matter and offer produce from the garden. This is also a great location to do most of the spectacular drives around the island or choose any of the stunning hikes available in the mountains or coastline. We stayed longer than we planned because we loved it so much.

I would definitely go back there.

The only thing better than the house itself are the kind people who run it. Arlinda gives you all the information you could need about the location, how to get there, and the best hikes in the area. Maria José prepares the most delicious food, I am vegan, and she cooked one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! I cannot recommend this place enough. I will definitely be back for sure.
