The kitchen was well appointed and coffee was provided. It was a bit of a walk up the hills (recommend you use the donkey service both ways), but was so peaceful in the morning and during our midday rest. We were glad we were not “in town.” Loved sitting on the patio- especially in the evening. Our hostess was wonderful and could not be more helpful for all our needs. We loved this place. I was told that “Hydra is a vacation from your Greek vacation,” and this place had it all!

So quiet and clean. A couple markets very close. Be aware: there are about 250 stairs to access property from marina.

The view is absolutely beautiful  The host, Christine was helpful and responsive and left drinks and coffee to start our stay!

The property has city and inner courtyard views, and is 2.5 km from Profitis Ilias Monastery. The property is non-smoking and is located less than 1 km from Hydra Port. Everything about my experience staying at Aori Guesthouse was amazing. Panagiotis was truly the best host. Always very responsive and helpful with whatever we needed. The place is just as shown in the photos, with a beautiful terrace and all the amenities that one could need. It was very useful to have a washing machine available to use. My friends and I had a very comfortable stay here and if I ever come back to Hydra, I would definitely stay here again. I would advise future guests to ask for two keys right away, as the electricity is operated by a key card, and if you want to put the laundry on while going out to explore, you can only do so if you have a second key.

It had all we needed to cook some light meals at home or whip up a greek frappe. We just loved the location outside the port and the sunsets were out of this world.

The house was spacious, stainless clean and had everything you might need. The terrace is the jewel of this accommodation, absolutely perfect. Our landlord, Alexander, was ever so helpful and answered our text messages within seconds. We highly recommend this accommodation!
