Situated 5 minutes’ walk from Kikian River, Patal Kikian Sidemen features an outdoor swimming pool set amidst the gardens.

Rooms are fan-cooled and have a private terrace with seating area overlooking the mountains and gardens. It also has a mosquito net, desk and en suite bathroom with shower facilities. The villa was very comfortable, room service was great too. We stayed for two days and that was perfect - anything longer would have been too long; there is not much to do otherwise and the only food option is the cafe on site (we did not want to go out of the resort as it seemed a bit complicated/not worth it). We went during the rainy season in Dec and we were fine with it, but bear in mind that during this time it gets quite cloudy (so we only saw the peak of Agung for 15-20mins one morning when it was clear, and then it quickly became cloudy again). The pool in the villa is not heated - we dipped once, but it was not a great experience as the weather was not hot enough for it - that is not a complaint from our side, just a heads up if anyone considers whether it is worth booking this particular villa. Pools are mostly not heated in Bali, but sun heats them up - that's not the case here :)

Tropical Habitat Bali has mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Amed, 48 km from Goa Lawah Temple. With quiet street views, this accommodation features a balcony and a swimming pool. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the pool and garden. Everything about this villa was truly outstanding. The views, location, the people, the smoothie bowls. Did I mention the views? Wow. The staff were outstanding too. I LOVED being here. My expectations were high after reading the previous reviews and the experience exceeded my expectations. This is better than a fancy resort because there is still a harmonious connection and I believe relationship with the local community.

Some units in the villa complex have private entrance and are fitted with desk and outdoor furniture. Some of the units have a cable TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, and a private bathroom with a hot tub and slippers. All units feature a wardrobe. Location is so beautiful, with a river view. It’s brand new, complete with the kitchen’s equipment. The staff is very accommodating, they help me to fixed my motorbikes. Thank you for your service and hospitality, very recommended!

Boasting mountain views, Nivriti Bali features accommodation with pool with a view, an indoor pool and a garden, around 31 km from Goa Gajah. The property has pool and river views, and is 33 km from Tegenungan Waterfall. There is a restaurant serving Indonesian cuisine, and free private parking is available. Our stay at Nivriti Bali was different and special at the same time. The staff and the owner were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! The whole project and concept is nice and the attention to details is to be appreciated. This is definitely recommended for anyone who wants to experience true outdoor living in an exceptional setting.

A few steps from Ibus Beach, The Angsa villas is a recently renovated property located in Amed and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. With garden views, this accommodation features a patio. The villa offers parking on-site, an infinity pool and full-day security. We stayed in the 2-bedroom villa closest to the ocean and loved absolutely everything. The view was breathtaking, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the outdoor shower was a unique highlight. The open living space, with its constant breeze and great fans, made relaxing a dream. The food was also wonderful—we enjoyed delicious breakfasts and lunches at the villa. To top it all off, the Balinese massages we received were incredibly relaxing. This was, without a doubt, the best villa we’ve ever stayed in.

It's even more beautiful. The staff and Ayu are so sweet, helpful and are truly doing everything they can. The villa is great, spacious and has everything you need We stayed 5 days in Sidemen and could easily have stayed more. It's the perfect place to relax, hike or walk next to the ricefields and just swim in the pool.

Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. The accommodation features full-day security, a housekeeping service and organising tours for guests. This is the perfect place to completely immerse yourself in nature! The view is amazing, and the bamboo house is comfortable and well thought out. Although it’s rustic, and you will definitely see some critters, it also has amenities such as hot water, electricity, and WiFi. The hosts are very responsive, friendly, and helpful. We would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

The units feature a private bathroom, free toiletries and bed linen. A really beautiful, calming place that stays with you. It felt so peaceful, exactly what we needed. Putra and Ratna’s family were genuinely kind and welcoming, and hearing their stories gave the stay a deeper, more authentic feeling. The home cooked meals were a highlight, absolutely delicious. A warm, memorable place we’ll always remember.
