She waited us before our arrival time and gave us a full room tour when we arrived. She also gave us recommendations of the restaurants and nearly sand bath. There was a Beppu firework festival during the night we stayed, the host recommended us to a nearby sea side park to watch the firework, it was just 5 mins walk. Though it was not the nearest location to watch the firework, the park was totally not crowded and we enjoyed the firework very much. With about 7-10mins walk there is a supermarket, we bought some wagyu and vegetables to cook for our dinner. Thanks the host providing a comfortable place for us to stay.
