Excellent location - nestled away from the main road and facing a beautiful vineyard. Communication with Liz was excellent all along the process. Unit was very clean and kitchen utensils and cookware were very cleanl. The heat source for the entire living area is a space heater/faux fireplace in the living room. For the most part, adequate heat was distributed. However, it might be good during colder months to have a separate space heater in the bedroom. Also, I should have read the property description a bit closer in that there is a washer but no dryer. We did resort to hanging wash on the line outside to dry and made it through okay!

Firkins Retreat, Picton heeft uitzicht op de zee, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en een waterkoker, op 19 minuten lopen van Picton Memorial Park Beach. We couldn’t believe our luck walking up the stairs to see the house and view for the first time! Firkins Retreat is truly a retreat. Great amenities including a full kitchen and outdoor spa (which has a great view while you’re in it!) and we were amazed at how well considered and private it is. Brad was very responsive and friendly too. Would definitely stay here again!

Need transport as fair distance to any shops etc but for us that was a major advantage. Bonus! If you are a fitness fan the gym across the road kicks off at 6am!

The property was clean, in good condition, and extremely well set up with everything that we could possibly need - from the kitchen to the bbq to the kayaks. The property was easy to find, and the communication from the owners was simple and clear. I recommend this property to anyone and hope to be able to stay there again.
