The prices are very very reasonable and the items you purchase at the venue are at market prices, there are no "premiums" attached to the snacks and the transport that you book/purchase through the venue. We had a bad previous experience as we were scammed out of $500 by a fictional property in Borocay (note: even though I brought this to bookings.com's attention, that property was still on their site weeks later, so caveat emptor). We were glad to book Franky's after that experience. The best thing about Franky's is the live-in attendant Roy and his lovely family. He was always available to help during power-cuts or with booking transport and the fact they live on the property added to our sense of security when we went out. The property is exactly as photographed and there are three spacious bedrooms and a living area. We were easily able to self-cater and there are small supermarkets very nearby with malls a short trike-ride away. There is also a small beach which has two great restaurants. The property is on a hillside with a main road at the bottom and we could usually pick up a trike there. It is a very quiet neighborhood but only 10-15 mins by trike from the touristy area so it was ideal for a family.
