We also enjoyed the wineyard at the bottom of the hotel and that we were allowed to walk around at any time. The place is very calm and quiet, perfect for a escape from the city hustle and bustle. Mr Jose was also of extreme kindness setting us up with a lovely boat tour through Douro on my bday. We had just asked where we could arrange for the tour and he went all the way calling the person and helping us organize. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff was really attentive. We highly recommend a stay with them!

The setting was simply perfect, offering stunning views of the Duoro valley. The house itself was beautiful, and we received a lovely welcome with their homemade Porto wine. Our room was exceptional, offering great comfort, and the breakfast was equally delightful. Unfortunately, the cold weather kept us from using the pool, but we're excited to return and spend more time there. Honestly, I felt no desire to venture elsewhere, as everything about the place was just wonderful.
