Backyard was screened in with lots of trees and greenery so it was privated and allowed us to bathe without our hijabs. Claudia the caretaker was very friendly and warm and responded promptly to texts.

From the balcony — our favourite spot — we enjoyed beautiful views and watched agoutis, parrots, motmots, hummingbirds, tanagers, bananaquits, cocoricos, and more. At night, the sounds of frogs, toads, and crickets created a magical atmosphere. We even boiled and ate the chataigne that fell from the tree in front of the kitchen window — a small, delicious taste of Tobago. Ria, one of the staff members, prepared us an incredible pepper roti — flavorful, comforting, and full of local character. This stay is perfect for nature lovers seeking peace, comfort, and good local food.
