The chalet has an outdoor fireplace and a barbecue. My partner and I had a lovely one night stay here on Christmas Day. It was about 5.5 hours to drive here from Johannesburg and we stayed here as it is right outside the Phalaborwa gate (about 5 minutes.) So location was excellent. The unit itself was nice and secure with dedicated parking, a secure gate at the property and cameras. We felt completely safe. The unit had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, particularly on Christmas where we were able to assemble a Christmas dinner without issue. There are three comfortable beds and all the amenities you might need. They also leave a park entry form that needs to be filled out before entering the park and it was nice to fill it out at a table in the evening rather than doing so over a counter with 10 other people at the park gate reception. The couple running this place were also friendly and had a little chat while we got settled and offered us some mangos from the beautiful tree on the property. If you are visiting the park and looking for somewhere to stay, stay here.

The river view was amazing 😍🤩🤩🤩🤩 with big hippos 🦛 🦛 walking around the river . The garden was Soo green with a fresh cool breeze and I loved every moment spent there. There is hot water 💦 in the rooms. The breakfast presentation and the taste was mouth watering, I wish I had stayed longer.

From the entrance of the house everything was spot on. The house was clean and you have everything you need. The beds were so comfortable. My highlight was the outdoor shower and toilet ohh and the open view from the downstairs bedroom is to die for. The pool was clean. The air on and fans work perfectly in the heat. Everything was spot on. In a very secure estate and the security is very vigilant. At night saw some animals (couldn't tell what they are) but it's was the best weekend we had. This is sure our holiday home when we come to hoedspruit.
