Natural setting and ambiance is very unique and incredible. The staff are very friendly and proactively make sure you get what you expect, including giving me suggestions about kitesurfing, yoga and transportation before my arrival. Food is the best I’ve had in Cape Verde and loved the peaceful and slow 3-course dinners.

A sumptuous and delicious breakfast spread. The rooftop terrace. The very good market across the street. Central location. The staff was fantastic including the doorman. The environmentally positive features and philosophy. The cleanliness and absolute comfort of the unit. The wonderful decor.

It’s a hotel run by a mother and her son. Both of them are very welcoming and are willing to share information about the area and routes.
The location is great, all the collectives stop nearby and easy to get there. Theres a variety of restaurants nearby. Great location to start trekkings.
The facilities were really good, we got a room with a balcony with views to the mountains and sea. Comfortable beds.

We loved the location, as we were able to do two excellent hikes. (One from the hotel, Boca de Figueiral to Cha de Padre Cima, which we highly recommend. We also hiked to the crater. )
The restaurant was wonderful, we enjoyed the. vegan offerings on several nights. Breakfast was ample and delicious.
The staff were exceptional, answering every question and assisting with any requests.
We highly recommend this hotel.

The room was about perfect. It was clean, with nicely arranged furnishings. The rooms were nicely arranged around a small pool and courtyard area. The staff were friendly, helpful and always cheerful. The location was very nice, we ate at very good restaurants that were just minutes walk from the hotel. They packed a wonderful to go breakfast for our early morning flight.
We would highly recommend The hotel Savana for your Sao Filipe stay.

Daniel met me at the airport and took me to the spacious property, which is well equipped. he explained everything that I needed to know. Good location, with short walk to a square with restaurants/bars and shops, then a short walk to centre of town. In the other direction is a small modern supermarket (Sucata) with small cafe/bar attached. Just beyond that is a pleasant restaurant.
