LOOK NO FURTHER, BOOK NOW! At Alessia's request, I am reviewing our stay here only at the end of our 3-week Italy road trip. Having stayed in many different locations, I can say, without a doubt, that this has been our most exceptional experience. Beyond the fascinating views, perfect location, beautiful rooms, amazing terraces, the truly outstanding highlight of this place are the people. They have made our family of 5 (4 adults, 1 child and one dog) feel like royalty, with care, kindness and impeccable communication: from securing safe parking on-site for our huge car on the Amalfi coast, assisting us with heavy luggage, booking for us an unforgettable private boat trip to Capri (with our dog!) complete with transfer, coming to pick us up at a time of our choice from Positano, advising us on our Amalfi itinerary, giving us restaurant recommendations and even checking parking garages availability for us - they just went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and as comfortable as possible. We were personally served each morning with the richest, most delicious breakfast we've had in all of Italy, with local fresh produce, amazing coffee, and huge variety of dishes. We had dinner one evening on the beautiful terrace overlooking the coast, an experience I would definitely recommend. They even researched ways to have our luggage delivered in another Amalfi town via boat, so we can travel without the worry of a car full of luggage. And to top it off, on the day of departure, they pulled their own car in the street to allow us to exit the parking safely on the crazy Amalfi roads. This is THE PLACE to stay on the coast and I would choose it for my family again and again! The hotel is gorgeous and inside a medieval village! Good internet connection, well stocked, proper AC. The staff was incredible, showed us where to go inside Paciano and the next day on our travels. The breakfast was incredible! Highlight of our trip to Italy and we will definitely return!

Borgo dei Gatti in Golferenzo is a magical place to relax and to experience all the joys of the Italian countryside along with a lovely spa. There is a cat who welcomed us and visited each morning and evening. Paola, the hostess, is a gem of a soul— so thoughtful and sweet and charming! The daily breakfast in a basket is a feast! The pool has a lovely view. The various places to eat are splendid. It is a quiet, relaxing and rejuvenating experience to stay there. It’s location is off the beaten track, yet just 1/2 from the train station, where they picked us up. As an American, I loved every charming detail— all very reasonably priced for an absolutely splendid experience! I would give it 20 stars or more!

Beautiful Masseria, very thoughtfully designed. We had a lovely and peaceful experience. Incredibly gracious hosts, dinner and breakfast were excellent.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The view from the pool was amazing, and the gardens beautiful. Food was also homemade with ingredients from the garden, and delicious!

We loved our stay. The room was clean and suited our needs perfectly, but the real highlight was the staff at the property. Lucio went out of his way to make our morning breakfasts a core memory of our honeymoon. We will be recommending this stay to anyone looking to book along the Amalfi Coast!

Staying at Maalot was amazing, the staff was hospitable, professional and was always there for any questions we had.

We originally booked L’Ottava Goccia for three nights and ended up staying a fourth, that says it all. This place has a truly special soul. It carries a unique and thoughtful character, where every detail reflects the heart and dedication of its owners. There is a beautiful wabi-sabi feeling here, an imperfect perfection that makes the space human, warm, and real. The design feels organic and evolving, like a living space that continues to grow. Above all, you can feel the love for the place and the sincere care for the guests in every corner. Roberto and his son Andrea speak excellent English, and we truly enjoyed our conversations with them. The dinners they prepared were delicious, served with soft music in the background beside the crackling fireplace where our dog peacefully rested. We left the place with a warm feeling, energized to continue our vacation in Italy.
