The staff were honestly amazing and so welcoming! The whole place had such a chilled vibe and I can understand why so many people were extending their stay! Would 100% recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Ipoh! They also served an amazing breakfast!

I had an amazing stay at Else hotel, it is near the entrance of Petaling Street Market. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. The room was cozy, with a bed so comfortable I didn’t want to get up,but the incredible, healthy, and delicious breakfast they provided made it worth waking up for.
Even the security was exceptionally friendly and helpful, assisting me with an online order during my stay. On my last day, as I had to check out at 6 am, the staff made sure I had a takeaway breakfast ready,such thoughtful service!
Overall, this place exceeded my expectations, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend it!

Loved the location, close to beach street and little India. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The room was very spacious with 4 double beds, more than enough for a family of 4. Even though its location, very central, the rooms are very quiet. I really love the friendliness of the staff. They gave lots of suggestions on where to go or where to eat. Loved the little local desserts every night brought to our room. Even though there are lots of plants around the mansion, there were no mosquitos. ( And I get bitten very easily). The check-in was also very fast. I would definitely return next time we visit George town.
