We were cared for exceptionally well from the moment we walked in. The management are professional and pay attention to small details. The building is gorgeously maintained (I believe they said it was from the 13th century) and the room was modern and had all the necessities plus extra. We enjoyed the fact that the steam room/pool was reserved privately for all guests which was a surprise and made our stay very special. The restaurant was one of the best dinners we have had.

We only stayed one night as a stop over on our way south and hotel was easy to find and only seemed a short walk into the main town. Hotel, rooms and grounds very well kept and clean. We arrived on a Sunday so restaurant in adjacent hotel was closed but there is an excellent food truck in the garden area which served a basic but good menu as well as drinks, all set in the lovely garden. Good breakfast selection in the morning. Nice staff also. Free coffee and tea available in reception area for guests.

A beautiful home, enchanting gardens, and a small but adequate pool. Although it feels far away from the town centre, it is only a 10-minute walk through a beautiful park or 15 via roads, but beware it is a steep walk back. The host had no English but used an app to communicate and help us in any way she could. The continental breakfast was served outside in the beautiful courtyard, and the room, bed, pillows, etc, were all amazing. We had a fantastic stay.
