Located in the middle of the Studenetz Ski Area in Pamporovo, Hotel Iva – Elena offers luxurious suites with free Wi-Fi and a balcony with mountain views. The on-site restaurant serves Bulgarian and international dishes and the closest ski lift is 50 metres away. The room was clean. I traveled alone with my dog and took a single room. The bed was bigger than expected.

Balneo Complex & Spa Aquatonik is located in Velingrad, the spa capital of the Balkans. Located near Kleptuza Lake, it offers free usage of the spa's aquatonic mineral water pool, sauna, ice room and steam baths. The hotel is nice with well equipped pools, saunas, steam rooms, salt dry room is there as well. We specially liked hot radon bath. Also the sauna and ice room as a contrast were excellent. Stuff is polite and always available for any assistnce.

Each of the units features a TV with cable channels and a DVD player, a well-equipped kitchenette and a seating area with a sofa in the living room. The apartments are furnished in 2 designs- modern in white and authentic - old-fashioned with vivid colours and wood. The bathroom is equipped with a shower or a bathtub.
