For a 3 star property it is a very comfortable and hotel with a cute garden. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The breakfast was generous and since the weather was nice we could enjoy it in the garden. The gym has all the latest Technogym equipment.

The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shared areas, including the kitchen and lounge, were well-maintained and provided a nice space to relax. One of the highlights was the free Basel Card, which made getting around the city much easier. The Wi-Fi connection was also reliable and fast, which was a big plus. The atmosphere was relatively quiet, which might not suit those looking for a more social experience. However, if you're looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay in Basel, Basel Backpack is a solid choice. Would recommend for budget travelers!

Just overnight on the way to the airport. Couldn’t have a better location for that, beside the train station and bus to the airport outside the door.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. The best family room we have ever stayed. The room was quite large and yet hot in the cold of December. Quiet and cozy neighborhood was the thing we needed as a family. The staff were perfect. Definitely we'd stay at the same hotel if we come to Basel again.

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre. The hotel is very centrally located right across from the main Basel Train Station. Although the hotel is located in the centre of Basel, my room was quiet and I was able to sleep well. The hotel had lots of character and style. Staff were very friendly and helpful and attentive. I loved the refreshments that were available for guests in the lobby and also that the mini bar was included in the room. I also enjoyed the selection at breakfast.

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. det var meget tæt på banegården

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. Great experience. Far better than we had in Mulhouse on our stop to Colmar. Basel and this hotel in contrast were wonderfully organized and welcoming. Only problem that i had was the noise of the trams right under our window but not enough to hinder our sleep after a tiring day of exploring the city.
