Piccolo Hotel har en rolig beliggenhed, 8 minutters gang fra Locarno Station og byens centrum. This boutique hotel is ideally located in a quiet area of Locarno. The breakfast buffet has an excellent variety of regional meats, eggs, fruits, and breads. It’s only a short walk to the train station. They also offered the Ticino Card, which made access to public transportation easy! The hotel is family run. Nikoli was very helpful with information about the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Villa Principe Leopoldo can be found amid a large park above Lugano, offering panoramic views of Lake Lugano and the mountains, and featuring leisure, sport and wellness facilities, as well as... The property was amazing and the views were spectacular

The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss is located on the lake-side promenade of Ascona, 300 metres from the centre. It offers historic-style rooms and free internet access. Right on the lake promenade, a green oasis, very quiet at night, friendly and helpful staff. Feel like home

Right on the shore of Lake Lugano, this family-run 4-star hotel offers restaurants, free WiFi, and a south-facing outdoor pool with direct lake access. The centre of Lugano is a 10-minute walk away. The room was a decent size, clean, with enough storage, a safe, a professional Nespresso coffee machine and the bed and pillows were confortable. A balcony with a ashtray and a beautiful view. The hotel has a pool and a lake access, perfect for summer and the view from the pool was amazing. I’m not a fan of buffet breakfasts but, between the Gorgonzola, the dispensers of farmers honey, the fresh orange juice machine, the fresh bread and pastries, all sorts of teas, eggs, cereals, nuts, etc and the different types of coffee you can order, this one is devine! The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

Once a patrician residence built in the 18th century, the Hotel Tamaro can be found right on the banks of Lake Maggiore in the centre of Ascona. Exceptional views straight to Lago Maggiore. Our room was spacious and comfy and the balcony big enough to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. The staff very friendly and the breakfast very rich and delicious. Also here you could choose to eat inside or outside, on the lake shore, absolutely amazing! It is 5 min walk from the bus stop and in the city centre so walking distance to practically everything. The port is not even 50 m away. Would recommend it!

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Location is excellent - near station. Beautiful old villa.

The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre. It is nice that these kind of tradition hotels still exist. All the best for the owner family and the entire team.

Situated on the lake promenade near the traffic-free centre of Lugano, Hotel Walter Au Lac offers you rooms with superb lake views. WiFi is free of charge. All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. The location is closed to city center and easy to walk around. The staffs were very helpful. The room is comfortable and quiet even the room on the lake side that is closed to the street. Also the BF is at expectation.
