The location of the hotel was fantastic, we loved the breakfast buffet as it was abundant in fresh and local products, cleanliness throughout the property was evident and the entire staff’s attitude and manners were impeccable. We highly recommend the Ammos Hotel to anyone looking to stay on Skyros.

Het Archontiko Art Hotel ligt in het pittoreske Galaxidi, op 200 m van het centrum. Het biedt romantische accommodatie met uitzicht op de Golf van Korinthiakos en de berg Parnassos. The host was extremely friendly. The breakfast was excellent and was taken in a lovely courtyard outside. The hotel was a quite old building but it was in an excellent condition and had lots of charm. My bedroom was lovely too. The hotel is a little hard to find so do your map checks beforehand. That said, there were lots of signs around the town as to where the hotel was located. The hotel is situated a short walk from the seafront where there are lots of high end (and popular) restaurants. Galixi itself seeme a very nice town.

Room had fantastic views of the sea and mainland, and was conveniently placed for town and transport. The couple who run the hotel are exceptionally warm and helpful, and kindly gave us a farewell present after our long stay. One can see the pride they have in their hotel with exceptional cleanliness and beautiful garden.

This was our second stay at Pension Hirolakas, it is clean and comfortable and in a great location. The owner is very accommodating and makes you feel welcome. Galaxidi is a lovely town with many attractions near by, A great place to set up camp for a few days
