Everything about Killaran house was exceptional from beginning to end, from checking in to checking out. Breda the host was truly amazing. She was professional, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable when it came to seek on advice on places to eat. The location of the Killaran House was so central, within a few minutes of walking distance of central town and plenty of parking on the property. The family room was spacious, bright, airy and a pure delight, better than any hotel room. Tea and coffee making facilities available 24/7, as well as toiletries if you should forget anything. Definitely my family and I will be staying again with Breda on our next trip to Ireland. 7 stars 🌟 without hesitation. The bathrooms have been newly renovated in the past year with all modern features including heated towel racks. The public areas are very warm and welcoming. The breakfast was outstanding with made to order entrées as well as a fruit and yogurt station and a range of jams and jellies. The staff was most pleasant and willing to offer valuable suggestions for visits to area venues and locations that do not show up in tourist guidebooks. The location of the hotel is a short walk around the corner from a bustling area of restaurants, bars and shopping. Yet, it is nestled in a quiet and secure residential neighborhood. The lodge is woman owned/operated and nothing is overlooked in the presentation of the rooms and meals. I highly recommend a stay at the Killarney Lodge.

This is magnificent hotel where you want for nothing! The staff, Maura and Lorraine were so helpful. All the staff are accommodating and friendly. We were let down on our previous booking elsewhere and they welcomed us and made a very stressful situation into a positive one.
