The Edo Sakura is geopend in juni 2013, en beschikt over accommodatie in een Japans herenhuis in Machiya-stijl op 5 minuten wandelen van metrostation Iriya en op 10 minuten wandelen van treinstation... The traditionnal room is amazing, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the peacefullness of the rooms. The bath was pretty relaxing and the staff is so kind and helpful. Its my second time at edo sakura and I still love it very much.

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. We like the breakfast and the room. Delicious. Spacious with beautiful view. The staff overall took great care of us too.

Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. The family is super helpful. They speak English and take care of their guests as family. 2 wonderful private onsen. Beautiful hike along the river just behind the hotel. Just remember this is bear country so sing your way through the hike.

Hakone Suimeiso bevindt zich op 3 minuten wandelen van het station Hakone Yumoto en op 15 minuten wandelen van de Sounji- tempel. Top locatie, super ervaring in deze ryokan! Heel vriendelijk personeel. Locatie is 10/10! Diner was goed. Wij raden deze accommodatie ten zeerste aan. Boek een kamer met een eigen bad, het was heerlijk met het geluid en uitzicht van de waterval! We hadden ook nog op de 6e etage het privé bad gehuurd voor 50 minuten; ook heel leuk om te doen, water was wel echt SUPER warm!

Toplocatie, vlakbij belangrijkste tempel, restaurants en winkels, metro en hop on bus vlakbij. Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije mensen, zeer mooi ingericht.

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and was the perfect start to our Japan trip. From the moment we arrived, staff welcomed us with warm smiles and were so accommodating. The room was spacious, immaculate and with a beautiful view of the Christmas lights and lit up stairs of the Solamachi Mall. Beds were comfortable, loved the bath and shower too. Breakfast at the Sizzler was delicious and so fresh, had amazing salads every morning and loved the variety they had with Japanese and Western style dishes. Location was superb, and the big supermarket downstairs was so convenient! Also appreciated that there were microwaves available for use (I love getting meals from the grocery store!) It was fun walking across the road to the mall, and we also went to the Aquarium and Christmas market at Skytree. We enjoyed walking Sensoji temple and around Asakusa from the hotel. It was easy to get around on the train to all the main attractions we wanted to see in Tokyo. Would definitely stay here again!

Het Stay Nikko Guesthouse in Nikko biedt gratis WiFi. U wandelt in zo'n 13 minuten naar het station van Nikko aan de Tobu- en JR-lijnen. Er is gratis privéparkeergelegenheid bij de accommodatie. Fantastic location - short walk to station and heritage area. Host was very helpful showing us how to get around and how to reach the sites we wanted to see.

This hotel is ideally located near convenient metro access while still feeling pleasantly removed from the bustle and more tourist-heavy areas of Tokyo. I appreciate the experience of staying slightly off the beaten path—it encourages curiosity and discovery and this neighborhood is perfectly suited for that. The hotel itself is exceptional: classic in style, beautifully refined, and thoughtfully designed. Our corner room featured full paneled windows on two sides, filling the space with light while maintaining a sense of calm and privacy. The room was quiet and luxurious, complete with a generous soaking tub and a comfortable lounging area that made it easy to fully unwind. What truly sets this hotel apart is its subtle, intentional approach to hospitality. The facilities are designed to make guests feel genuinely cared for without ever feeling intrusive. A beautifully curated library offering complimentary beverages and snacks was a particularly lovely touch. Toward the end of our journey, I was also able to arrange an in-room shiatsu massage, which was an incredibly welcome and restorative experience. I am genuinely in awe of this space and the atmosphere it offers, and I very much look forward to returning on our next trip to Tokyo.
