The staff went out of their way to please. The hotel/ryokan is old but has the amenities you want/need, is clean and safe. The roof top Onsen is to die for…spectacular view of Beppu Bay. I highly recommend reserving one of the bay side rooms…great view to go to sleep and wake up.
