Absolutely perfect in every way. The house is beautiful, beds are very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. The area felt very safe and there are plenty of good restaurants, Cafes, and bakery within a short walk. The hosts left a very helpful guide book with recommendations. Sita is such a lovely person and a seriously good cook. Would definitely recommend having at least one meal at the property - you will not regret it! Glenn (the host) was very helpful and responsive Highly recommend!

Strategically located in Colombo, Cinnamon red Colombo offers modern and comfortable accommodation with free WiFi access throughout the property. Very very nice hotel and very friendly staff throughout. Room was large with spectacular views on the 21st floor. Absolutely spotless. Nice bathroom and comfy bed. My check in took 10 minutes and was very efficient and super friendly. Don't understand the negative reviews others left. Also the breakfast was really good and I can't imagine what else some people could want for breakfast. There was literally everything you could want and all fresh and really yummy. As to the additional charges some people mention here: you have to check in your pricing details if taxes are included, this differs depending on the country you make the reservation from and other factors. If there's taxes already listed in the details you will not be charged additional taxes at check in. I paid exactly the amount booking.com showed me and in the details all taxes were listed already. Rooftop pool has beautiful views of the city. AC works perfectly. Free drinking water in the room and shower amenities. Reception is on 7th floor. There is heavy security at the entrance. Metal detectors, bags are xrayed... I would book here again. They seem to have smoking rooms, yet I requested a non smoking room and my room didn't smell at all.

Hotel in koloniale stijl op een schitterende locatie bij de oceaan. Het personeel was vriendelijk en graag bereid tot een gesprekje. Het ontbijt was heel uitgebreid en lekker. Het buffet was ingesteld op gasten van alle continenten. Groot zwembad, ligbedden, handdoeken... Alles was kwaliteitsvol.

Ordered a special lunch based on Siva's recommendation,Jaffna Crab curry and fresh water jumbo tiger prawns devil both tasted outstanding. Kudos to the chef who made those outstanding dishes which we all thoroughly enjoyed it and also a big thank you to Roger from dinning for his absolute outstanding service which made our day so special.
