They also explain "rules" of the property clearly and show you to your room, and check if you are interested in arranging a breakfast / other meal for an additional fee. * Beautiful property exactly as described (there are plenty of animals around the property) * A small part of the house is available at night-time, only for access to some paid food+drink the hosts make available (wine, beer, some food), as well as some free food items (cake, water, possibly coffee, I believe) * I had a car and parking was very easy as well. In my case, I was able to park right in front of my building.

Monte Alerta ligger blot 2 km fra Monsaraz Slot og er omgivet af en meditationshave, økologisk frugtplantage og ved siden af Europas største kunstige sø, Alqueva. We liked how welcoming Victoria was. She was an excellent host. Our room (#3) was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and the pool. We liked the proximity to Monsaraz and to the OLA stargazing as both were just 5 minutes away. It was a good base for 4 days with day trips to Monsaraz, Evora and Estromoz. We plan on returning for a fall or spring visit.

Hotel Solar Dos Mascarenhas ligger i den historiske by Vila Vicosa, 300 meter fra Paco Ducal, og har en bygning fra det 16. århundrede samt stalde og en frodig have. The hotel was in a great location. The front desk was great. If you need good internet this can be a problem. They gave me an extender which worked well. Highly recommend this property.
