The room in the cottage out the back was charming and quiet and our hosts were helpful and entertaining. The street felt quiet and safe and not far from restaurants and the main street. Oh my, Erna's breakfast was wonderful! Franschoek is quite an oasis of sophistication.

From start to finish, this place is amazing. The welcoming and friendliness of the staff needs a special mention. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they went out of their way to make it special for us in any way possible. The property was also really clean and exceptionally well equiped.

Very nicely made lodge next to the Eikendal vineyards with scenic views on the surrounding mountains. 7min foot walk from the wine tasting. Room was very comfortable, quit and clean. The staff delivered outstanding service. Breakfast was also excellent with a mix of buffet and freshly made egg dishes. Highly recommended!
