I had an incredible experience at the hostel in Sydney! The staff's attention was outstanding, and having both breakfast and dinner included was a delightful surprise. Its proximity to the central area made exploring the Opera House convenient. I stayed for 7 days and truly felt at home throughout my stay. Highly recommend!

The hotel is very central, close to nice restaurants and shops, loved the area! We travelled from Europe with family and booked two rooms to celebrate NYE in Sydney. Unfortunately we arrived two days late due to flight cancelations but the hotel kindly agreed to move our 5 night bookings without any charge which was a relief. The front desk team was super friendly, smily and welcoming throughout our stay. We loved the breakfast and the general feel of the hotel. Our rooms were great, nicely appointed and decorated. On NYE we found a complimentary bottle of wine in our room which was a lovely surprise, thanks again. Also, special thanks to Sharon who was so accommodating and helpful. Sharon helped us on a few occasions and nothing was too much trouble, she's a great asset to the property. We'll be back!

Hotel Diplomat is ideally located in Kings Cross and easily accessible to buses and trains It oozes charm and albeit its proximity to a number of bars and clubs it’s pretty quiet throughout the hotel (I would recommend asking for a room towards the rear of the property for lighter sleepers. The reception staff were the most accommodating I’ve ever experienced in near 55 years of travel around the world! The room was extremely comfortable and the bedding and linen were obviously hand picked - so much so I took photos of the towels and pillow labels to buy myself in the future!

It was nice and clean, the free dinner is a nice touch and creates a homely feeling with the other guests. The events are a great way to connect with other backpackers and theres always a staff member to help you out if needed. 100% recommend!!

I like the space its is s big room and has lockers for my stuff.It is very clean and the staff are helpful and nice. There is free breakfast and some meals at night times.
