I love the location, just 5 min walk to Copacabana and about 15 min walk to Ipanema! The property has a lot of common areas for hanging out with other guests which is a perfect opportunity to get to know new people. Its much cleaner than most hostels, I saw staff cleaning several times a day! Private rooms are fresh and perfect size, well-functioning air conditioner :) staff are very friendly!!!

Breakfast 🧡! It is a good place to socialize and meet other people to explore the city together. A lot of common spaces to chill, or work (including a designated co-working space with two small rooms for video calls). Rooftop with a nice view, and a small but really well equipped 'gym' corner. A common kitchen that can be used to prepare your own food. A lot of useful information about places to visit and things to do in Rio. The reception is really helpful and they even organise some trips and transfers for you! And the beds that provide a lot of privacy with the curtains!

Welcoming from the second you arrive. Accommodated a very early check in and at short notice. The hotel does a great job at being very elegant and sophisticated but doesn’t feel stuffy and has a great atmosphere. If you’re coming to Rio, I wouldn’t have any second thoughts about staying here. I’ve been to Emiliano, Sheraton and Hyatt in Rio and they don’t even come close!

Scorial features a rooftop terrace with 2 swimming pools and panoramic views of Rio. It is located just 2 blocks from Flamengo Beach and 1 block from Largo do Machado Subway Station.

Super breakfast, very safe and helpful staff. Room and bed were comfortable. staff allowed us to use swimming pool after the checkout. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed.

It is a unique building, old, big and very artistic- how it looks is reason enough to stay here! Big kitchen with a lot of space to cook. The castle also has many spaces for relaxing or socializing, like the pool, the living room and the garden. There is something for everyone here, either if you like to socialize a lot, chill in your own private space or if you are there to work while you travel. Great staff and great volunteers who really makes you feel at home. For me, this is one of the most unique and special hostels you can visit, do not sleep on this one and book your stay❤️
