The Loden was excellent. The staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very comfortable and our experience was fantastic with shops, restaurants and the water close by.

The property was in an excellent location great for walking nearly everywhere we wanted to go. The only time we used public transport was the water taxi to Granville Island and the Water Bus to North Vancouver. Everywhere was within walking distance for us. The facilities were great everything we needed the apartment provided even down to snacks and coffee it was there. There was also washing powder etc for the washing machine if you didn’t have any. Iman was a great host very easy to get in touch with and full of information and help if needed. Highly recommend booking this apartment with him.

The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver is in perfect balance with its breathtaking urban and natural surroundings.

I visited The Westin Bayshore Vancouver from South Korea. I’ve always heard that Canada values diversity and equality even more than the U.S., so I had high expectations — and while most of my stay was wonderful, there was one disappointing experience during breakfast. On the second and third mornings, the same older blonde female server wearing a mask ignored our table even after confirming that the omelet was ours. She wasn’t particularly busy, just standing elsewhere, and this repeated behavior made us feel invisible — as if we were being treated differently because of our appearance. Since around 90% of guests throughout the hotel seemed to be Western, it felt like subtle discrimination, which was disappointing to experience in such a beautiful place. However, I truly want to express my gratitude to the other staff who were kind and attentive. One server kindly heated up the rice we brought and took our order with care, and a manager helped us find our way around the hotel and even checked how our stay was going — that meant a lot. The room was clean, the pool was great, and the scenery was stunning. Although I had one unpleasant moment, overall, we loved our stay and plan to return next month with my family. I just hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and ensures all guests feel equally respected and welcomed.

We had a corner room which was perfect for our family of 4. We arrived straight from the airport due to a last minute flight cancellation and I made the booking through the app. Excellent service, great continental breakfast (EU standard) and very well serviced and maintained hotel. I particularly like the fact that you can rent a car there directly or have a Starbucks in the lobby. The gym, swimming pool and whirlpool were also great.
