We stayed at Urban Oasis Basel for one night during our trip for the Eurovision Song Contest, and it was the perfect base for exploring this vibrant city!
From the moment we arrived, Nikolai, our host, was exceptionally helpful and welcoming. He took the time to give us some fantastic local recommendations—from great places to eat to must-see sights around Basel—which really helped us make the most of our short stay.
The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. One of our favourite features was the lovely porch, a peaceful little spot to sit out and unwind after a day in the city.
The location couldn’t have been better—just a short walk from the centre of Basel, with shops, restaurants, and transport links all close by. Whether you’re in town for an event or just visiting for leisure, it’s an ideal place to stay.
We only wish we had more time there! Thanks again to Nikolai for being such a thoughtful and informative host. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Basel.

Everything one needs for a stay with a kitchenette, shower, optional air conditioning. Close to the tram and 10 minutes ride to the main train station. Well kept and clean, easy check in and nice host. And a nice touch with a complimentary welcome glass of wine. Perfect for a solo traveler.
