The atmosphere was great. The bar/café upstairs was really cozy. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The beds felt private and comfortable, the shared facilities were clean and convenient. I had a great stay!

Amazing hotel located next to the river and close to the metro (although you will need to take a street elevator or climb 11 floors). The hotel had everything you needed, water, clean towels, amazing shower, bathrobe, umbrellas, and even a washing machine with powder. The breakfast buffet was the best that I had in China.

We arrived so late due to flight problems. Destroyed by the trip . They offered us an upgrade free of charge and ...it wasn't a normal room but an apartment! more than 100 SQM !!! two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a huge comfortable living room, (three 55" TVs, one for each room), a fantastic view of the city on the 26th floor, and so on ...all things at an unbelievable price (compared to EU standards). Really polite people at the lobby. Good breakfast. The hotel is two steps away from the downtown of Chongqing , a mall, and from metro station. Unfortunately, we stayed just for one night. But we will be back soon, sure! thanks to all Ascott staff.

Wow, I’m back at this hotel and—oh my gosh—they actually have real northern-style heating here! Can you believe it? I’ve never seen anything like this in southern China. It’s absolutely amazing! And the best part? It’s nothing like that dry, stuffy air conditioning. The room feels incredibly cozy and warm—so comfortable that I just want to stay in all day and forget about going out. Seriously, I’m too happy to leave! The owner has really thought of everything. How thoughtful is that? I’m totally sticking with this place from now on. This is definitely my spot!
