The location is not necessarily close to any to any tourist destinations but conveniently located near a Subway Line 1 station from which you can easily get to anywhere in Dalian. Both nights I stayed there I spent the late evening hanging out in the lobby with the staff and other guests, playing card and board games as well as chatting. I was speaking in Chinese the entire time so if you do not know the language you may need to use translation apps etc to communicate but the staff are used to foreign guests so you should not face any problems.

Such a lovely place to stay! The location is right in the heart of the city, with supermarkets and great food spots just around the corner. The internet was fast enough for work, and the house had everything I needed. Honestly, there’s no reason not to recommend it. The host was kind and helpful too — definitely a place I'd stay again!
