Everything! The staff walked through all the facilities and thought of every details, including leaving your shoes outside and providing slippers otherwise it gets smelly in the room. Shelving to put your stuff and hooks inside the dorm. Location is fantastic, close to metro and the drum and bell towers. Also the Muslim quarters is right across the street

The YOLO Hostel is a 10 out of 10. It is a wonderful place with amazingly friendly and helpful staff. It's virtually at the entrance to the old city, maybe 400 meters from the Bell Tower. It’s modern, spotless, ordered, quiet, and respectful. They have a bar and a spacious, light-filled lounge for relaxation or browsing. It is silent when it has to be: you can get some sleep here. Tip: getting off at the wrong metro station or exiting the metro incorrectly can mess things up badly: for me, it was a nightmare trying to find the place, as it was for other, non Mandarin speaking guests. So, I’m going to make it real easy for you to find the place. Do this: 1. If coming from the fast train station, get the Line 2 metro to the Bell Tower Station (钟楼站 / Zhonglou Zhan. 2. Take Exit D at Zhonglou Zhan. This leads into Beida Street, where the hostel is located. 3. Then, walk back towards the Bell Tower (you will see it ahead of you) 4. After about 150 metres (2–3 minutes walking) you will see YOLO Hostel — difficult to spot — on your left. The entrance, on your left, is about two shops after the Apple Store. 5. Take the elevator to the 6th floor. Option B — Also Easy If, on exiting the Bell Tower Station (钟楼站 / Zhonglou Zhan, you happen to come across Exit 7 first, take it. It will also lead you right into Beida Street. Walk straight ahead for about 400 metres along Beida Street. YOLO Hostel will, this time, be on your right. The hostel is actually located between Exit D and Exit 7 of the Zhonglou Zhan metro station — both on Beida Street. The hostel is about 350 meters from Exit 7 and maybe 150 meters from Exit D.

It was a beautiful hotel. Our room was amazing, so comfortable and elegant, with a beautiful small private garden area. The food choices at breakfast were excellent and we ate one delicious evening meal here. The staff were lovely and so helpful. They found out it was my birthday when I was staying and delivered a gift and cake to the room.

Location was right above the line 2 subway line, which is where many of the attractions are. There were many bus options so well accessible by public transport. Plenty of food and shopping options around. Room facilities and heating were fantastic. There is a complimentary afternoon tea at 2-4pm everyday. Take note to request for a room not near the opera stage if you are affected by the noise during the day. We had a good chance viewing the performance from our room so it was a good perk for us.

It is a very big hotel complex, as i can remember with 5 buildings. Inside the complex it looks very comfortable and expensive, the hotel staff is really profesional, they booked us the tickets for Terracotta army and gave us the tips. Not all of them are speaking english, so they recommend you to wait for a minute and than someone comes with a decent english. They called the taxi on the next day, the driver already knew all coordination, waited for us and brought us back. Inside the room it seems to be little older, but still very beautiful, huge room and everything was clean. The hotel is exactly in the center, so you can reach anything taking a walk and see this very beautiful city. You have a lot of food choice in the city, but i would recommend you to take a lunch/brunch inside the hotel, it is very rich with choice and quality, the price was around 20 Euros, but they gave us it for around 15 as we stayed in the hotel. On the other side the drinks at the bar are expensive, beer, wine, between 7 and 10 Euros for a glass.
