It’s not an anonymous apartment in an anonymous block of identical apartments. It’s a one-off and has lots of nice touches, like milk in the fridge, some snacks, and a few useful things like salt and pepper. The kitchen has everything you’d need. Bettina, the host, is ever so friendly and helpful, providing me with an umbrella because of the weather forecast. The internet signal was good. Transport links are good with local trams, and Köln-Sud railway station is very close for trains down the west of the Rhine. The main railway station is an easy thirty minute walk away if you’d prefer not to use the trams.

The room was cozy and clean, and really warm. The staff was very helpful and by listening to their suggestions, me and my husband were able to visit more Christmas markets and have an even better stay than we planned :-) The hotel has good transportation connection to the center and local stores to shop in nearby - Lidl, Rewe, DM. The breakfast was really good and delicious, with many choices and the staff at the restaurant was also very helpful.

This family-run hotel lies in a quiet side street, located 10 minutes from Cologne Cathedral and just 20 minutes from the Kölnmesse exhibition grounds.

We were greeted by the most friendly staff ever, very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Beds are very comfortable and there was a little fridge in the room. We will certainly come back here.

we just stay for one day but everything was fine. Everything you needed was nearby. The rhine was only 5 min. walk away. Room was very clean and tidy. Easy Check In an Check Out

The host was friendly, responsive, easy to take over keys and drop them off. The matrass and pillow were comfy. The shower pressure was great and the warm water comes immediately. There was a ventilator which is very important since keeping windows open was difficult due to noise and rain. There are plenty of garbage baskets, a shower gel and shampoo, towels, kitchen paper, coffee machine, microwave, small fridge with freezer. Great if you are out all day and don't spend any time in the room besides sleep. There is basic 2 plates, 2 cups, 2 bowls, 2 small pots and basic cuttlery, enough if you don't plan to cook anything.
