The building is hidden in the quiet inner yard in the middle of the great and lively neighborhood fool of restaurants and bars.
Even though the weather was super hot during our stay it was cool and pleasant in the apartment (and due to it being hidden in the inner block, it was relatively cooler even in the garden of the house). And the dyson fan helped a lot on the hottest day.
The little terrace in front of the apartment is so lovely

11/10 apartment!!! really a great loft, very spacious, we were 6 (2 adults and 4 children) but the loft is more than suitable for 8. the apartment has all the comforts, a very extensive kitchen but also the small details such as soaps and things for the the kitchen. the level of finish is of an unprecedented high level. Worthy of a 5 star hotel. We really liked the location, on an area with some small businesses, a good base for us to explore the city and surroundings by car. All in all a hidden gem and highly recommended.

The Elbcottage is a labour of love and it shows in every detail. The kitchen is well appointed and everything you might need is provided. Coffee machine, Nespresso machine and water kettle. A starter stock for the Nespresso machine is also available. Towels are plentiful and more provided if needed. The beds are very comfortable and pillows in all sizes available. The amenities are Molton Brown and set the tone of the standard in this lovely cottage. Even a shoe horn and a shoe polishing cloths has been thought of. Parking is available in the street and the S-Bahn station a 10 minutes walk away. The little village is just a hop and step from the door and has Pharmacies, Bakeries, a small supermarket, Cafes and a well frequented ice cream shop. There are also several restaurants. Busses go down to the ferry Teufelsbrueck from the main street.
