A very nice apartment, nicely furnished and comfortable for two couples. Right in the thick of it, we walked to all the major attractions and the apartment itself is on a very nice Plaza which has loads of nice restaurants and bars.

These traditional restored apartments are set in the most authentic area of old Madrid, only a few metres from Puerta del Sol.

The location is very central. We walked to all the attractions. But there are metro stations and bus stations around. We stayed on the first floor, windows facing the busy street, during the weekend, but it wasn’t nosy, the building is well isolated. Beds were comfortable, we slept excelent. It was really clean when we arrived and they cleaned the room daily. They gave us the room a few hours before check in, and kept our luggage after checking out. The staff was very nice, helpful and polite. The room has thermostat so you can set the temperature yourself.

This value guest house provides clean and simple accommodation, just a short walk from the main sights of this monumental capital city, including the historic Puerta del Sol or the Plaza Mayor.

Property was good as 3 star hotel, with perfect location and nice clean bedroom, Lobby etc. Staff were very humble and cooperative. All 5 star hotels were next door such as JW Marriott, Four Seasons etc and all land mark locations and party streets are on walking distance.

We stayed 6 days long in Catalonia Puerta del Sol but we wish it would have been more! The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly and helped us a lot throughout our stay (recommendations, taxi booking etc.). The location couldn’t be any better. The hotel as well as our room were very very clean. The variety of breakfast was also big with many options to choose from! All in all we fully enjoyed our stay and hope to be visiting Catalonia Puerta del Sol soon again! We highly recommend it.

Hotel allowed us for 5 hours early free check in. Front desk representative Juan was very helpfull and polite. Location was wonderful. Have a small balcone with main road view.
