What a lovely homestay! We had a great time at Villa Akassa! The rooms were exactly like they looked on the pictures, super comfortable. The place is so well located with a great cafe right across which has steps leading you down to the beach! The breakfast was great, despite what some reviews said it was more than enough food! They gave a freshly cut bowl of fruits with our choice of breakfast!

Fantastic and peaceful place with the sea view. You can enjoy the sound of the waves on the terrace. Very clean, staff is very professional and helpful. From one side it’s calm and quiet place very near the beach, from other side you can find big amount of different restaurants and shops in 10 min on tuk tuk or 15-20 min walking along the beach.

Owner Sajeev and caretaker Vijayan looked after us really well during our stay. The location is fantastic - it's outside Varkala which is great if you are looking for somewhere away from the tourist crowds but bear the beach. There was a quiet beach nearby which we had almost to ourselves at times. Swimming in the sea as the sun went down was one of the highlights of our trip to India. The room was a good size with air con and a fan. Breakfast was served outside on the terrace. There is also a washing machine for guests which was really helpful for us as we are backpacking. We were lucky enough to have visited during a Hindu festival and saw plenty of free entertainment at the temple next door. Varkala is only a short tuktuk ride away and has all sorts of different restaurants and shops. Thanks for a memorable stay!

I stayed at the accommodation for a few days and I was very comfortable. The owner is lovely, as well as his family, and they make you feel at home. The facilities are exactly as shown in the photos everything clean, well maintained, and no mosquitoes, also strong wifi. The location is very good: you are just 5 minutes from the beaches and the cliff, in a quiet and very safe area, with restaurants and shops nearby. This accommodation is definitely a great choice if you want to spend a few quiet and comfortable days.
