Very nice tatami room with an awesome bathroom. You can also book a time slot for the hot tub on the roof, but it is on a first come first serve basis, so consider checking in as early as possible.

This is my second time of stay. Love this historical hostel which filled with tradition, beautiful scene and local living culture. The staff are nice, friendly and with fluent English. It's so lucky that we can squeeze in a 1N stay here. This makes our Kyoto trip shine with one more memorable experience.

Fantastic outdoors in a nice little town right outside of Kyoto. Nice staff with Japanese hospitality. Onsen was relaxing - there’s both indoor and outdoor bath. The room was good as a standard Ryokan style room.
