A stay with private jacuzzi in the calm peaceful forest with excellent service and food? This is complete paradise. Also the hotel itself doesnt take many guests so hardly get to bump into any other guests- feels like I own the whole place for myself almost.

This ryokan stands out for its excellent service. All the staff were cheerful, polite, and genuinely welcoming. Both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared, with a wide variety of dishes and excellent taste. You really shouldn’t eat too much beforehand, as the dinner here is plentiful and delicious. The location is great for those planning to visit Kamikochi — it’s just a short walk from the bus station to the ryokan. It’s a perfect place to relax and recover after exploring Kamikochi. Thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of me and my family.

Wow, this place is absolutely beautiful! The room are so spacious with big windows and an incredible view on the mountains. The Tatami mats were actually quite comfortable because they were a bit thicker than what we had before. It so nice to have the private oncen and finally enjoy having a bath together with your partner since they normally have separate gender. They provide tea, a cattle, towels (big and small) and a Kimono in the room. My partner and I loved it so much! the bus station is really close and you can enjoy the day at Kamikōchi, then come back after a long day and relax in the pool, have a nice dinner in one of the nearby restaurants (vegetarian options available!) and then rest and get a good night sleep in this beautiful room. Definitely go there!

Everything! The onsen in the room was magical! The kimonos that were in the room for us to use were gorgeous! Really brought the Japanese experience up!

The old japanese themed room was great. The yukata was really confy. The onsen (thermal bath) was AMAZING, you can go indoors or outdoors, and is opened almost all day.
The staff was friendly and there are some restaurants nearby, one of them made a really good ramen.
