The location is very central, 4 minutes walk from the center. The place is very very quiet and peaceful. The bedroom was perfect, the bed so big and so comfy, as the first night after our trip from Europe I would not have dreamt better. Consuela is very kind and attentive. The shared kitchen is spotless with access to free tea, coffee and yummy biscuits. I highly recommend staying at casa Tamayo !

Where do we start? Our stay was amazing! From the design of the room, the rooftop terrace, the personalized breakfast (with 2 courses) to the service level of the staff (prepping the room for the night): we enjoyed it to the max. Comfortable bed with duvets and AC so no cold night. Good location as well: near the center of Coyoacán and the Frida Kahlo museum. Iván and the rest of the staff really made us feel at home.

This was a lovely place with great hosts that are helpful, kind, but leave you to your own as well. The surrounding area was great with a short walk to the always entertaining Zócalo, or city center with a park, fountains, stores, and entertainers. Lots of families and felt very safe, just use common sense. The room was spacious and the garden was beautiful. I felt like I was at home with the care and welcoming the hosts provided.
